Brooklyn-based CAMP Mercantile creates original limited-edition accessories and home décor.

All CAMP products begin with reused and up-cycled goods, such as vintage plates and chinaware, clothing and soft goods. They are then transformed into a one-of-a-kind works of art with our own spin on iconic campy personalities, art, and images.

Artist and designer, Peter Ripley, creates work that focuses on repurposing home goods and up-cycled vintage wares. Identifying himself as a Creative Scavenger, Peter is constantly on the hunt for forgotten objects to bring new life to as unique pieces of art. His work is heavily influenced by pop culture, history and the nostalgia of rummaging through grandma’s attic or finding treasures in the basement; all with a drive to be socially conscious, his passion of sustainability and a desire to reduce waste.  Through his work, Peter hopes to inspire others to see the beauty and value in discarded treasures and invites you on this journey of giving older items a new purpose; creating a more beautiful, eco-friendly world, one piece at a time.
